Building and alterations
We are a well established building company specializing in building additions, alterations, repairs and maintenance services. We service the domestic and commercial industry and can help you to fulfill your dream building project.
Roof repairs
Astro Projects have well trained roof specialists who can repair any form of roofing whether it’s a tiled, IBR or corrugated roof. We are able to replace your old roof with a new roof and do waterproofing to all types of roofs. Gutters will be checked, cleaned and replaced if required.
Plumbing
When doing a new kitchen or bathroom, it is advisable to check the state of the existing piping. Clients are advised to replace the old piping than having to do it shortly after completing the tiling because the pipes are old. Depending on the age of the house the existing galvanised piping would have to be removed, replacing it with new copper water pipes.
Bathrooms
When revamping or upgrading a bathroom there are certain criteria which need to be given attention, with our expertise we can offer that to our clients. Our service includes designing and planning your bathroom making the most of the available space according to each and every client’s individual needs. Selecting the perfect bath, basin, taps, shower doors and tiles for your walls and floor will complete the look.
Ceilings and decorative cornices
We install flush plastered ceilings with decorative cornices or standard plain cornices. We also do suspended ceilings and bulkheads. Once installation is completed, painting the completed item creates an elegant finish to a room.
Painting
A fresh coat of paint is guaranteed to give your home a fresh clean look. We can advise when choosing colours to enhance your home, utilising good quality paint. Great care is taken and the floors are covered from where we enter the building to the areas being painted and all furniture which can’t be moved will be covered with clean plastic.
Flooring
Astro Projects installs all types of vinyl flooring, carpets, porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles and mosaics to suit your style and requirements.
Work in progress
Great care is taken with existing floors and fittings, covering all surfaces with ground sheets. Every day the site is left clean so as to make the renovation process as easy on the client as is possible. Rubble is removed regularly and the site is cleaned at the end of the project.
